The A-list's revved-up rides

Though money can't buy you happiness, it can buy you the car of your wildest dreams. From vehicles featured in iconic film franchises to one-of-a-kind custom builds, you won’t believe some of the amazing automobiles on this list exist. Read on to feast your eyes on some of the world’s most incredible supercars, and discover which lucky famous faces own them.

Donald Trump's Rolls-Royce Phantom: $500,000

Oozing with old-school elegance, Donald Trump is thought to have paid around $500,000 for his 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom. According to reports, the regal automobile is the most expensive supercar in the former president’s vast fleet of motors.

Paris Hilton's Bentley GT Continental: $200,000

Who could forget Paris Hilton's pink Bentley GT Continental? The motor was a pillar of noughties pop culture, and fans were recently thrilled to discover that the newlywed hotel heiress still owns the iconic set of wheels after she posted a photo of herself with the Barbie-inspired ride on Instagram. On brand as ever, Hilton donned a matching pink outfit as she posed with the glamorous $200,000 car. To use her immortal catchphrase: "that's hot."

Elon Musk's Lotus Esprit S1 Submarine: $818,000

Some might say that Elon Musk is reminiscent of a Bond character. It seems rather fitting, then, that in 2013 he splurged over $818,000 on the 1976 Lotus Esprit S1 Submarine car that featured in the classic James Bond flick The Spy Who Loved Me. Nicknamed 'Wet Nellie,' the car originally cost around $100,000 to build. Musk admitted that he was disappointed to discover that his new purchase didn’t actually transform into a submarine. He revealed he planned to upgrade it with a Tesla powertrain to fix the issue, although this enraged 007 enthusiasts, who believed the iconic piece of movie memorabilia should remain unaltered.

Jay-Z's Dartz Prombron: $1.3 million

According to Forbes, music mogul Jay-Z has a cool $1.3 billion in the bank and, as a result, boasts one of the world's most desirable supercar collections. This includes a Dartz Prombron, a fully armored SUV that can withstand AK-47s and rocket launchers. The rapper reportedly paid $1.3 million for the formidable vehicle, with reports suggesting he purchased it to protect his wife Beyoncé, and their children.

Mark Zuckerberg's Pagani Huayra: $1.4 million

Despite being one of the world's wealthiest people, Mark Zuckerberg is known to enjoy a frugal lifestyle. So, naturally, the media exploded when he purchased a lavish Pagani Huayra in 2014. The Facebook co-founder reportedly spent $1.4 million on the spectacular car, which is a far cry from his previous rides; cars he has owned in the past reportedly include a VW Golf GTI and a Honda Fit.

Kylie Jenner's Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta: $1.4 million

Make-up mogul Kylie Jenner is famous for flaunting her swish supercar collection on social media, allowing fans to keep up with her latest wheels. Her current collection includes a Range Rover Autobiography and a Bugatti Chiron (of which more later). However, they don't come much more fabulous than her Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, which was gifted to Jenner by her then-boyfriend Travis Scott following the birth of their daughter Stormi in 2018.

The opulent automobile, which features gullwing doors and a digital dashboard, came with a $1.4 million price tag. Only a limited number of Ferrari LaFerraris have been produced since their 2013 launch, with the iconic car brand notoriously selective about who can purchase their cars.

Flo Rida's Bugatti Veyron: $1.7 million

Flo Rida owns a prestigious Bugatti Veyron and enjoys splashing his cash by regularly wrapping it in new colors. The extravagant rapper came under fire for wrapping the $1.7 million supercar in gold chrome, with many describing the finished look as 'gaudy'. In 2013, he raised even more eyebrows when he coated the vehicle in a bright pink wrap. Look a little closer at the photo and you'll notice that there's a charity pin incorporated into the design on the hood; this is because the bold new paint job was chosen to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Prince Turki Bin Abdullah's fleet of gold cars: $2 million

Saudi royal Turki Bin Abdullah stunned Londoners when he paraded his jaw-dropping collection of gold supercars through the city in 2016. His collection includes two Lamborghinis, a Mercedes AMG off-roader, a Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe, and a Bentley Flying Spur, collectively costing over $2 million. The prince reportedly spends thousands wrapping each vehicle in gold, which feels like a fitting choice given his regal status.

Bill Gates' Porsche 959: $2 million

Although Bill Gates might tend to donate the bulk of his fortune to philanthropic causes, the Microsoft founder has a penchant for Porsche supercars. Gates purchased a rare Porsche 959 model in 1987 but it was impounded by US Customs when he attempted to illegally import it into the United States. He had a painful wait of over a decade before his beloved car became road-ready, and he even helped to pass the law that made it road-legal. The incredible automobile, which boasts a top speed of 197 mph, is now reportedly worth around $2 million.

Fans still got a good glimpse of the vehicle, which boasts a sleek black and white finish and a statement orange interior. Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather once owned a CCXR Trevita, and it comes with a hefty $4.8 million price tag.

Cristiano Ronaldo's limited edition Bugatti Centodieci: $11.2 million

Only 10 of these magnificent Bugatti Centodieci supercars have been produced, with soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo one of the reported owners. Ronaldo, who already owns a Bugatti Chiron and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, reportedly paid $11.2 million for the limited-edition vehicle in 2020, which was delivered to buyers this year. Given that Ronaldo earned a cool $120 million in 2021 alone, the cost of the luxurious set of wheels was just pocket change.

Mystery billionaire's Rolls-Royce Sweptail: $13 million

Unveiled in 2017, the Rolls-Royce Sweptail is a one-of-a-kind two-seater, commissioned by an anonymous billionaire for a reported $13 million. This seriously stylish auto wouldn't look out of place in a James Bond film. With the push of just one button, the car's console reportedly deploys a chilled bottle of champagne and two crystal champagne flutes to the passengers. To add a splash of extra glamor to proceedings, the fizz in question is the mysterious buyer's favorite vintage from the year of his birth.

Rumors circulated that soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo could be the buyer, but this was later proven to be untrue.

The innovative vehicle is part of Rolls-Royce’s new Coachbuild project, which gives high-profile clients the freedom to design their own custom cars. Only three Boat Tails have been crafted so far, and Jay-Z and Beyoncé are rumored to be among the buyers. Why? Because the champagne cooler was designed to fit bottles of Armand de Brignac, the luxury alcohol brand co-owned by the rapper...
