Find out who made the fastest cash

Inspired by a 1998 Vibe magazine article about New York's underground car culture, 2001's The Fast and the Furious turned illegal street racing into box office gold.

The original movie made more than five times its budget, and the saga has since expanded into a global entertainment machine, spanning 12 films, a TV series, video games, theme park rides, and more. Its cast is just as wild: A-list rappers, supermodels, action heavyweights, wrestling icons and serious thespians have all entered the Fast universe.

Fast cast members with no wealth estimates

Not every Fast & Furious name has a Celebrity Net Worth figure.

Among the most notable omissions are Sonny Chiba, the late Japanese screen legend who appeared in 2006's The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift as Kamata. Also absent is Tony Jaa (pictured), the Thai martial arts star who wowed in Furious 7, which was released in 2015.

Other missing names include franchise regulars, supporting villains, international action performers, and several younger actors who played earlier versions of major characters.

Fast cast members worth under $25 million

The bar for this ranking is unusually high, with the cut-off starting at $25 million, reflecting the caliber of talent the franchise has attracted.

At the lowest end of the estimated fortunes are Nathalie Kelley and Zachery Ty Bryan, both listed by Celebrity Net Worth at $500,000.

The rest of the under-$25 million group includes supporting actors, international stars, musicians, wrestlers, and action names, from Bow Wow and Luke Evans (pictured) to Rita Moreno, Roman Reigns, and Scott Eastwood.

Joint 20. Jordana Brewster: $25 million

Opening the ranking is Jordana Brewster, who's been part of Fast & Furious since the 2001 original, returning again and again as Mia Toretto, Dominic's sister and Brian O'Conner's partner.

The franchise made Brewster a blockbuster regular, but her wealth is not only built on fast cars. She started out on daytime soaps, studied English at Yale, and later added TV roles in the Dallas revival, Lethal Weapon TV series, and the first season of American Crime Story, The People v. O. J. Simpson.

Joint 20. Michelle Rodriguez: $25 million

Michelle Rodriguez has also been with the franchise from the start as Letty Ortiz, Dom Toretto's childhood sweetheart, wife, and one of the crew's toughest drivers. The role built on her breakout turn in 2000's Girlfight and helped make her a go-to name for fierce action-heavy parts.

Beyond Fast & Furious, Rodriguez's credits range from Resident Evil and S.W.A.T. to Avatar and Lost.

Joint 20. Paul Walker: $25 million

Paul Walker's death in 2013, midway through filming Furious 7, was a devastating blow for the franchise and its fans. The late actor had helped define the saga as Brian O'Conner, the undercover cop whose loyalty shifted from the law to Dom Toretto's crew.

The role made him a global star, and his final franchise outing became both a blockbuster and a farewell. Walker had amassed a fortune of $25 million at the time of his death, says Celebrity Net Worth.

Joint 20. Brie Larson: $25 million

After a three-year pandemic acting hiatus, Brie Larson entered the universe in 2023's Fast X as Tess, the daughter of Mr Nobody and an Agency insider who ends up siding with Dom's crew.

The role added another major franchise to a career already transformed by Marvel, where Larson led Captain Marvel and returned in Avengers: Endgame. She's also an Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA winner thanks to Room, while her wider career encompasses Kong: Skull Island, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and directing.

Joint 18. Devon Aoki: $30 million

A pink Honda S2000 and sharp street-race attitude made Suki one of the most memorable characters in 2003's 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Supermodel Devon Aoki brought high-fashion panache to the role, on the back of a glittering career modeling for the likes of Chanel, Versace, and Marc Jacobs.

The star went on to cultivate a film career but retired from acting and modeling in 2009 to focus on raising her family. The previous year she'd inherited $25 million following the death of her father, Benihana founder Rocky Aoki. The money has since been held in trust but she'll finally be able to access it when she turns 45 in 2028.

Joint 18. Don Omar: $30 million

Don Omar added reggaeton star power to the Fast universe as Rico Santos. The Puerto Rican singer first appeared in 2009's Fast & Furious and later returned for 2011's Fast Five, The Fate of the Furious in 2017 and 2021's F9.

Away from the movies, Omar has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide, scored huge Latin hits including Danza Kuduro and King of Kings, and founded his own label, Orfanato Music Group.

Joint 15. Jason Momoa: $40 million

Fast X needed a villain big enough to rattle Dom Toretto. Enter Dante Reyes. Jason Momoa nailed it as the flamboyant antagonist and son of Hernan Reyes, seeking revenge after Dom's crew stole his family's fortune in Rio.

The role gave Momoa another major franchise after Game of Thrones, Aquaman, and Dune. His Aquaman pay reportedly rose from $3 million for the first solo movie in 2018 to $15 million for the 2023 sequel, underlining his rise to blockbuster leading man.

Joint 15. Ludacris: $40 million

One of several A-list rappers in the Fast universe, Ludacris became a franchise fixture as Tej Parker, the Miami mechanic and tech expert who evolved into one of Dom's most trusted crew members.

The Grammy-winning artist first appeared in 2 Fast 2 Furious and has returned across multiple sequels, with Tej eventually taking part in everything from Rio's vault heist to the franchise's famously ridiculous trip into space.

Beyond Fast, Ludacris has built his fortune through music, acting, business ventures, endorsements, and his Disturbing Tha Peace label.

Joint 15. Romeo Santos: $40 million

The self-styled King of Bachata made a brief but notable franchise appearance in Furious 7, playing Armando, a powerful Dominican ally who shelters Mia and her son after the Toretto home is destroyed.

Romeo Santos was already a Latin music giant by then, having risen to fame as the lead singer of Aventura before launching a massive solo career. His fortune mostly comes from albums, sold-out tours, and bachata's global crossover boom.

Joint 12. Elsa Pataky: $50 million

A Rio police officer with a strong moral compass, Elena Neves became one of Fast Five's key new characters. The role went to Elsa Pataky, who returned in Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7 and The Fate of the Furious.

Pataky first rose to fame in her native Spain through Y2k series Al salir de clase, later crossing into Hollywood with Snakes on a Plane and action thriller Interceptor. She's also known for her modeling work and marriage to Chris Hemsworth.

Joint 12. Gal Gadot: $50 million

Before Wonder Woman turned her into a global superhero, Gisele Yashar gave Gal Gadot her international film debut in 2009's Fast & Furious. The former Mossad operative later became part of Dom's crew, returned for Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6, and resurfaced in Fast X after years presumed dead.

Gadot's post-Fast career moved into another league with DC, Death on the Nile and Heart of Stone. Her fortune also stems from modeling, endorsements, production work, and business ventures including Goodles and Pilot Wave.

Joint 12. Idris Elba: $50 million

Sir Idris Elba arrived in the Fast franchise through the 2019 spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, playing Brixton Lore, a cybernetically enhanced former MI6 agent. It was a suitably outsized villain role for an actor whose career already stretched from prestige TV to blockbuster film and music.

After breaking through internationally as Stringer Bell in The Wire, he led Luther, joined Marvel as Heimdall and headlined Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.

Beyond acting, Elba, who received a knighthood from King Charles, is renowned for his campaigning work to combat youth knife crime, and has also built income as a producer, director, DJ, rapper, and brand partner.

11. Eva Mendes: $70 million

As covert US customs agent Monica Fuentes, Eva Mendes introduced some undercover glamor to 2 Fast 2 Furious. She resurfaced briefly in Fast Five, handing Hobbs the file that proved Letty was alive.

By then, Mendes had moved well beyond her Training Day breakout, fronting hits such as Hitch, and working with directors including Robert Rodriguez and Adam McKay.

The $70 million estimate is shared with her husband Ryan Gosling, while Mendes' own career also includes modeling, fashion, beauty and homeware ventures.

10. John Cena: $80 million

John Cena crashed into the Fast saga as Jakob Toretto, Dom and Mia's long-lost brother, shifting from F9 antagonist to unlikely family ally by Fast X.

The role was a walk in the park for the star, who'd already turned WWE superstardom into Hollywood muscle, following The Marine, Trainwreck, Blockers, and The Suicide Squad.

Cena's fortune is rooted in wrestling, but acting, TV hosting, endorsements, and his Peacemaker spin-off have kept the money rolling.

Joint 6. Cardi B: $100 million

The richest rapper in the Fast franchise, Cardi B turned up in F9 as Leysa, a Dominican associate from Dom's past who now leads an all-female paramilitary crew. She helps Dom track Jakob, setting up a character who could easily return.

The Bronx-raised star had already conquered pop culture with Bodak Yellow, Invasion of Privacy, WAP, and reality TV fame. Her fortune has since surged through music rights, social media, other film work, endorsements, fashion, and various business deals.

Joint 6. Helen Mirren: $100 million

Among the serious thespians to grace the Fast universe, Dame Helen Mirren gave the franchise a touch of grand larceny as Queenie Shaw.

The Oscar, Tony, Emmy and BAFTA winner plays the criminal matriarch of Deckard, Owen, and Hattie Shaw, appearing in The Fate of the Furious, Hobbs & Shaw, F9, and Fast X.

Mirren's career stretches from the Royal Shakespeare Company and Prime Suspect to The Queen, RED, and Woman in Gold. The $100 million estimate is combined with husband Taylor Hackford.

Emma McIntyre/Getty Images

Joint 6. Jason Statham: $100 million

Jason Statham boasts one of the Fast saga's strongest villain-to-antihero arcs as Deckard Shaw, Queenie's eldest son and the rogue British operative who entered as Han's apparent killer and Dom's sworn enemy.

First seen in the Fast & Furious 6 mid-credits scene, Shaw became a full-scale threat in Furious 7 before sliding into uneasy family territory.

After making a name for himself in Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock... and Snatch, Statham has gone on to become one of Hollywood's leading action stars.

Joint 6. Kurt Russell: $100 million

With Mr Nobody, Kurt Russell slipped neatly into Fast & Furious mode as a shadowy government operator who recruits Dom's crew, steers the God's Eye mission, and keeps returning with yet another impossible plan.

A former Disney child star, Russell became a cult icon through John Carpenter favorites Escape from New York, The Thing, and Big Trouble in Little China, before later turns in Tombstone, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

5. Charlize Theron: $200 million

The franchise's first major female villain came with serious Oscar-winning clout.

In The Fate of the Furious, Charlize Theron joined as Cipher, the cyberterrorist who blackmails Dom, kidnaps Elena, and later returns as one of the saga's most persistent threats.

Theron's fortune reflects a stellar mix of prestige, action, and brand power, from Monster and North Country to Mad Max: Fury Road, production projects, and a lucrative Dior endorsement.

Universal/Getty Images

4. Vin Diesel: $225 million

Fast & Furious is the engine behind much of Vin Diesel's fortune. As Dominic Toretto, he's been the franchise's signature face since the 2001 original, later becoming one of its key producers through his company One Race Films.

The action star has reportedly earned at least $150 million from Fast salaries, royalties, and bonuses, including huge backend deals on later installments.

Diesel has also commanded substantial sums for xXx, Riddick, and voicing Groot in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but Dom remains his biggest payday.

3. Kevin Hart: $300 million

Kevin Hart has one of the smallest Fast roles in this round-up, but one of the biggest fortunes. In Hobbs & Shaw, he pops up as Dinkley, a federal air marshal who tries to attach himself to Hobbs and Deckard's mission.

The bulk of the star's money comes from stand-up touring, studio comedies, Jumanji, endorsements, and business ventures, with Celebrity Net Worth stating he pulled in more than $600 million from all sources between 2015 and 2025.

Steven Ferdman/Getty Images

2. Ryan Reynolds: $350 million

A less-than-discreet CIA agent in Hobbs & Shaw is only a tiny part of Ryan Reynolds' money story. He appears as Victor Locke, the over-sharing operative with an intense admiration for Luke Hobbs and a habit of saying far too much in public. The role sits squarely in Reynolds' fast-talking comic zone, but his fortune comes from far bigger plays.

Deadpool made the actor a global box office force, while his stakes in Aviation Gin, Mint Mobile, and Wrexham AFC have turned him into one of Hollywood's savviest entrepreneurs.

Kevin Winter/Getty Images

1. Dwayne Johnson: $800 million

Fast Five changed the franchise's scale and gave Dwayne Johnson one of his most high-profile Hollywood roles as Luke Hobbs, the relentless lawman who first hunts Dom's crew before becoming an uneasy ally. The part led to multiple sequels and the Hobbs & Shaw spin-off, with Celebrity Net Worth listing a $20 million payday for that flick alone.

Even so, Fast is only one lane in the wrestling luminary's fortune. Jumanji, Moana, Ballers, Seven Bucks Productions, and major endorsements have all added to the pile, while his Teremana Tequila stake now appears to be the chief wealth generator.
